• Born and raised in Japan.


• Middle child, has an older and younger brother.


• Father is the president of a massive gaming company on par with the likes of Nintendo called Dreamscape, mother doesn't do shit.


• Childhood friends with Yuuko Kanoe.


• Had a butler she was especially close to, who she saw as a father figure.


• Parents divorced when she was young, moved away with her mother.


• After her parents divorce, she gained a step sister.


• Has Issues on account of her mother. Mother cared a lot about traditionalism, saw her stubborn, independent, rebellious daughter as something to be ashamed of, especially considering how it would look to her social circle.


• Tried very hard to discipline her into behaving. Discipline often had an abusive angle to it; she was struck as a child, locked under the staircase (often through the whole night, forcing her to sleep there), scared straight with the threat of having things that are precious to her taken away. When she was young this tended to be Yuuko or her father figure butler. Later on it became her sister, too.


• She had a dog she was fond of when she was young, but after a heated argument one day, her mother gave the dog away as punishment. Never saw it again.


• Had a girlfriend during high school she adored. She even convinced her to skip school one day and they hung out while skipping.


• Mother was livid, fired her father figure butler both blaming him for what happened and as Aki's punishment.


• Graduated top of her class in high school, was going to live with an aunt in Tokyo while studying in college. Didn't actually know what she was studying. Just going because her mother controlled every aspect of her life.


• The night before she was going to college, she gave up and decided to run away. No goodbyes, nothing left behind. She essentially up and vanished without a trace.


• As far as her family is concerned, she's presumed missing. Kidnapped? Dead? They don't know.


• Moved to Recolle around two (but close to three) years ago.


• Works the counter at the smaller arcade in the area. Makes just enough to get by.


• Lives in a cheap apartment; the type of place that really shows you get what you pay for.


• Very confrontational online. Sometimes leaves comments on websites just to start arguments for the sake of it.


• Online handle is MAJIN ✮ MARI @twitch where she streams video games, @youtube where she archives her streams, @twitter where she just complains about things and @retrospec, which at the moment she doesn't use for much.


• Actually an exceptional gamer. Not particularly popular as a streamer however, because she treats the people who come to her streams like shit. As a result, the chat is usually filled with Edgy Internet Kids.


• Her streams usually happen at like 2am, despite the fact that, yes, she is working tomorrow morning.


• Her twitter stream is usually complaining about media. Bad games, bad movies, bad people. Occasionally a random link to some article on military history pops up with no commentary added.


• Lives a fairly secluded lifestyle. Doesn't go outside to socialize much. Stays up too late, doesn't get a lot of sleep, diet consists primarily of cheap and easy meals or junk food. Always looks tired. Usually is tired.


• Doesn't talk about her life before Recolle much. Doesn't like people knowing her dad's such a well known public figure.


• Doesn't stream the games her father's company makes, doesn't talk about them publicly. But does play them.
